2021-22 Winter at Behind Bars in Brooklyn

November/December/January/February and March

Behind Bars In Brooklyn and Adapt Ability is offering a complete Bicycle Mechanic Curriculum.  Classes are available for those eager to repair their bicycles or for those that would like to start a career as a Bicycle Mechanic.

Our goal is to share our knowledge and experiences obtained for more than two decades.  Our students, (each of them unique), are our main focus in finding  the correct channels for each of them to learn using their own skill and pace.

Behind Bars in Brooklyn at The Barnett Institute in CO.

August 2021

Thanks to the QBP Women Scholarship Grant, I had the opportunity to travel to Colorado to the Barnett Bicycle Institute.

The experience and knowledge obtained at the institute was out of this world.  Congratulations Mr. Barnett you are a genius.  Thank  You.

The opportunity to meet five incredible, smart and awe-inspiring ladies that believe in cycling as much as I do, (was the icing on the cake) and confirms that cycling can and will change the lives of anyone that decides to take a spin.

Thank You for the experience QBP.ew Services, Classes and Programs.

ADAPTABILITY

AdaptAbility is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. AdaptAbility is a program created to customize adaptive bicycles for children with special needs, allowing them to exercise and to improve mobility, while giving opportunity to experience the pleasure of riding a bicycle. Each bicycle is tailored to the child's challenges and goals. AdaptAbility bicycles are donated to families free of charge, allowing them to increase their quality of life.

AdaptAbility’s mission is the inclusion of children with special needs in the cycling community. This inclusion will allow them to get mobility, exercise (therapy) and the experience to feel just like any other child.

AdaptAbility’s Goal is to provide custom adaptive bicycles to every community (Parks, renting adaptive bicycles at no charge), schools, therapy centers and to any child in need of one in our great country, USA and hopefully one day in the complete world.

We look forward to reach our goal, be part of it, DONATE!.
